Northwestern Pritzker School of Law is delighted to announce that Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of eBay Inc. and alumnae Marie Oh Huber (JD ’86) will deliver the convocation address to the Class of 2022. We are very excited to have her share her insights as we celebrate our graduating students. Convocation will be held on Friday, May 13, at the Chicago Theatre, 175 N. State St.
Huber is a C-suite level leader with strategic business, legal, and public policy experience in three global Fortune 500 technology, Internet, ecommerce and life sciences companies. She has worked with and advised boards of directors and executive leadership on business and operational matters, M&A, corporate governance, privacy, data governance, ESG, ethics and compliance, intellectual property, litigation, diversity, equity and inclusion, labor and employment, and cybersecurity matters.
Before joining eBay, Huber served as SVP and General Counsel at Agilent Technologies, where she was responsible for global legal and government affairs, communications, regulatory/quality, and philanthropy. She started her career at Hewlett-Packard Company and at large law firms in New York and San Francisco.
Huber is a board member of Portland General Electric (NYSE) and Adevinta ASA (ADE.OL), the largest global online classifieds company. In addition to her operating role, she also serves on the University Council at Yale, the board of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity, the Northwestern Law Board, and recently served on the board of the Silicon Valley Community Foundation.
Huber has a BA in Economics from Yale and studied at the London School of Economics. She earned her JD from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. She and her husband have two children, live in the Bay Area, and enjoy cycling.
